Five Northview High School seniors have been named to the school’s hall of fame.

Named to the Northview High School Senior Hall of Fame from the class of 2010 were: Jessica Bloodsworth, Micah Byars, Kaitlyn Caraway, Clint Davis and Dakota Stuckey.

Seniors who show excellence in academics and are leaders in the school and their communities are chosen for the Senior Hall of Fame by the Northview faculty and staff. They are chosen because they embody the true spirit and character of a Northview Chief.

I am very honored to have been chosen for such an accomplishment. I’ve wanted to be selected ever since I found out about this opportunity. I encourage all of the underclassmen to strive for this in the future years and to get your name recorded into the Northview High School Hall of Fame. Also, my congratulations go out to the other recipients; Kaitlyn, Clint, Micah, and Dakota.

My loudest and bestest congratulations to all you young people. Its so great to see you do these kinds of things, AND being so neatly dressed and groomed. I’m proud of you all and I hope you are proud of yourselves. Keep your self-pride with you always. Pride in who and what you are will always be reflected in your job, your family, your loved ones, your friends and everything around you. Others will always envy you and what you stand for. Never settle for second best, until you have put everything you have into trying to be the very best. Always aim as high as possible and then, even if you fall a little short, you’ll still be far and away above everyone else. In other words aim for a PhD and if you have to settle for a Masters degree, that still be great !. I encourage you all to work at jobs which have retirement plans, so that when you are 65, your income will still support you and your family throughout the rest of your lives. If you reach 65 and your income is $25,000 on retirement but your bills are $35,000 that will be a problem. Go after MORE than you will need when that day comes, and come it will, although right now it seems too far off to worry about it.. Go get ‘em Jessica. I’m proud of you !!!. ……………..Dr. J.D. Bedsole

My husband and I have known all of these students since they were little ones in elementary school and not only are we very proud of our own daughter Jessica Bloodsworth’s outstanding achievement in receiving this honor, but we are as equally proud of Clint, Kaitlyn, Micah and Dakota as well. I cannot wait to see what they will accomplish with College and with their futures.

Great job you guys and gals!

Congratulations to these honorable young folks! It is great to see some recognition for someone other than athletes. These young people are the real role models from our community. And hope for America lies within them…
