I would like to see some checkpoints on Hwy 29 to catch all the drunks pouring themselves out of the Red Baron, Swannee’s and Homestead every weekend. Just set up after midnight north or south of any of these establishments on a Friday or Saturday night and I bet they would fill their quota in no time flat.

Florida laws requires that they must tell you where the check points will be at. Out of all the check points listed FHP will only be at a couple they will not do all of them. But I do agree with you Billy it does need to be a suprise.Thats how Alabama does it they wont tell you when their gonna have a check point until you drive up on one.

Does anybody besides me think that it is stupid that FHP is forced to advertise these checkpoints? These should be a suprise to the public.

Thanks for the warning. I’ll be sure and avoid all these areas.
