Three cheers for all the students who excelled in art.

Good that we still can afford to encourage artistic development in our schools. When I arrived here some 30 years ago, Flomaton had no art program. I pushed for creating one because, in my view, if students don’t draw and paint and express themselves graphically, they stunt their mental ability to picture things in their minds, to think, to conceptualize, to view themselves objectively. Art programs are expensive but there are ways around that.
