Poarch Creek Indians Perform At Century Library

The Poarch Creek Indians presented  pow wow dances Thursday at the Century Branch Library.

Several dozen children enjoyed the performance at the library. For a complete photo gallery, click here.

The Century Branch Library and the other libraries in the West Florida Public Library system will be closed November 26 and 27 for Thanksgiving.

    these are the children of our community, one of which is my child and we are very proud of all of them. there dedication and there hard work that it takes to be sucessful speaks for itself in there presentations.

    What a fun time! The dancers were great! All of my children have pretended to be dancing Indians since coming home. The little drums that the library workers made for the children were an extra nice touch. The children love them. Thank you!

    Loved this event! My child was thrilled to have experience this kind of dance! He wont stop dancing like the indians now..tehehe
