Bicyclist Hit By Car

A bicyclist was injured when they were struck by a car this morning near Burger King on North Century Boulevard.
The victim was reported to be conscious and alert following the 11:38 a.m. accident. The person’s injuries were not considered life threatening.
Engine 519 from the Century Station of Escambia Fire Rescue, Escambia County EMS and the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the call. The incident is still under investigation by the FHP. Further details were not immediately available.
