Molino Road Resurfacing Set To Be Completed This Week
October 12, 2009
Weather permitting, the resurfacing project underway on Molino Road should be completed this week, according to the Escambia County Road Department. Most of the remaining work involves the road shoulders and pavement markings.
The $858,713.05 project by Roads Inc. of NWF, includes completely resurfacing the road from Highway 29 to Highway 99, a distance of just over five miles. The project also includes other work such as stormwater pollution control, mulch, shoulder work and pavement striping.
The Molino Road project is being funding by Local Option Sales Tax funds.

please fix the edges of the street where the new road meets. its a big bump and is not good!
Please send them to Bratt Road!! We have been told this was going to be paved for about three years now. They are putting in the new park and we need the road paved!!
Twice I had to run down the road on the good lane and the let traffic come at me head on. Thank God all the people were paying attention and slowed down so we never had a head on accident.
I do appreciate the improvement to our community, but these workers were the most unorganized ones I have ever seen. I was directed into the left lane (onto wet tar) and about 1 mile later I was passed by a person going the opposite direction in the closed lane. There was NO communication by the workers. I think the local folks realized the lack of traffic control and used caution, or we would have had some major accidents.
Yeah my truck as well. They were not very bright people
I hope thye never bring this roads inc back to Molino. I have tar all over my car because they directed me through an area that was still wet.
