counties: the h1n1 virus is everywhere…duh. you can’t pinpoint one county and say all the people there are infected. ITS AIRBORN. Update your facts. And the only way to keep from getting it is to wash hands before and after everything you touch, use lots of sanitizer and don’t be around people that are sick no matter who they are.
Wouldn’t it be helpful if at least a little closer vicinity is revealed to citizens so they can know to be even more vigilant in taking extra precautions to prevent getting this flu?
The same thing goes for the rabies outbreak. If the direct vicinity was know as to where rabid animals have been found then people could take even more care.
This is not to say that we shouldn’t be vigilant at all times in taking care from diseases and dangers, but knowing it’s even more close to home serves as a good reminder to take more precautions.
I understand that the health department has to use discretion and not reveal names, but when they say “county” that takes in a large area.
