Troopers Ready For Holiday Weekend

State troopers in Alabama and Florida will be out in full force this Labor Day weekend.
The Florida Highway Patrol and the Alabama State Troopers will be looking for drunk or aggressive drivers during the weekend, speeders or other violators.
Alabama troopers have added motorcycles and semi-marked vehicles to their arsenal. Florida troopers will also be enforcing Florida’s new primary violation seat belt law.
A two-state traffic enforcement program started in August as a cooperative program between the Alabama State Troopers and the Florida Highway Patrol. Local law enforcement agencies are also involved in the crackdown this weekend.
