Some School Progress Reports Delayed

September 23, 2009

If you were looking for your child’s progress report Wednesday afternoon — you  may not have found it.

The first nine-weeks progress reports were scheduled to be sent home with students Wednesday afternoon, but many students did not receive their report due to a software problem with the school district’s grading system.

If you have any questions, contact your child’s school.

We received a pre recorded call from the Supt. office tonight about the delay in the progress reports. From what the call said it was a distirct problem and they would go out later this week. So I do not think this has anything to do with EWMS and open house. With my oldest daughter, open house was not a place to discuss progress reports or grades. And why would the parents be upset at the school and not their kid. My kids better not have bad progress reports or THEY (my kids) are in trouble not the teachers.

“parent” — I’m told this was a problem district-wide, not just in the north end. I suppose it was a lucky break for some kids. :)

Makes me wonder if this is because they knew many parents would be upset for the Open House at EWMS tomorrow night…Just a wonder…
