Tate High School lost to Pensacola High Friday night in close ballgame, 7-0.
The first three quarters were scoreless. A 12-yard pass with 7:23 to go in the game from Jalen Spencer to David GiannottiĀ put Pensacola High on the board. A good kick, and the PHS was up 7-0.

IM THE MOTHER OF #80 DAVID GIANNOTTI. IT WAS A VERY GOOD GAME. AND I AM ALSO VERY PROUD TO BE THE MOTHER OF THE PLAYER THAT SCORED THE ONLY TOUCH DOWN,AGAINST THE RIVAL TEAM. YOU HAD TO BE THERE TO FEEL THE EXCITEMENT..!! I ALSO WANT TO ADD THAT IF YOU SAW THE PAPER…… THE PIC ON THE FRONT PAGE OF THE SPORT SECTION #70 IS MY YOUNGEST SON RICHARD GIANNOTTI. SOOOOO BE LOOKING FOR HIM AS WELL…… THANK YOU NORTH ESCAMBIA FOR KEEPING UP WITH US.
I was at the game and both teams put up a good fight. Tate’s defense played tirelessly against a very talented Pensacola offense. Many times did Tate hold Pensacola close to them scoring. I wish Tate’s offense could have materialized on some of their plays. I know the defensive young men were tired. Good job Tate for holding Pensacola to only scoring once. See you in Satsuma!
Way to go Tigers !!!!!!!
