Sorry you feel that way Tammy. I’m one person, one camera. I can’t be at Northview, Flomaton, Tate, Escambia County High and Escambia Academy at the same time.

I have, by the way, advertised for months for someone to help me so I can cover more. Maybe you would be interested in covering Flomaton sports?

Well lets take away all your Flomaton readers.

Tammy — Remember that we are NorthEscambia.com, and our coverage area is North Escambia. We cover our one local high school team, Northview, as much as we can.

I understand we have a lot of readers in Flomaton, and I am always happy to run anything about Flomaton sports. Most everything we run from Flomaton sports comes from one parent or another, especially Mike Newton from Mike Newton Photography. We are extremely thankful to him for what he sends us.

If someone loved sports and wanted to cover Flomaton for us, I’d run every sport that the Canes have and be happy to do it.

Since I am the only person running NorthEscambia.com, I have to concentrate my time on the teams in our coverage are — Northview, Ernest Ward and the little league teams. It is not humanly possible to divide my time to cover teams outside of our coverage area.

On this volleyball story, all of the stats are all Northview because their coach is the most wonderful person ever to send in her stats the night of games. If any Flomaton coach wants to send stats from any sport, I’d be happy to run them too.

On the photos in the gallery, I did shoot several that were just Flomaton because we have so many readers that love the Canes. Most of the photos show Chiefs and Canes. If they had played a team like Catholic, just for an example, I would not have posted hardly any photos that showed the other team.

All of the above goes for the other teams that surround North Escambia — Escambia County High, Escambia Academy, Jay and Tate.

    William,
I notice ,what ever the sport, very little is shown of Flomaton wheather it is players or cheerleaders. Maybe somewhat prejudiced?!
