Fire Destroys Tractor In Bratt (With Photo Gallery)

Fire destroyed a tractor in Bratt just before noon Friday.

The fire was reported on a sod farm located near the intersection of North Highway 99 and Hall Road in Bratt. The tractor operator, who was cutting grass with Bush Hog at the time, said the tractor erupted into flames as he was working.

There were no injuries.

The Walnut Hill Station of Escambia Fire Rescue responded to the call.

    Not surprised that old tractor is done… It was rough looking and sounding. Darn thing had to be worked on everytime before it would start.
