Escambia Academy 28 Pickens Academy 22
The Escambia Academy Cougars beat Pickens Academy 28-22 Friday night in Canoe.
John Dean picked up a touchdown and 104 yards on two dozen carries for the Cougars. Jaylen Henry had a 17-yard touchdown run for EA. Robin Whatley scored on a 40-yard interception return and Cowboy McGhee added six on a three-yard run.
Escambia Academy will be on the road next week taking on Wilcox Academy.
