Deputies Investigating Davisville Convenience Store Burglary

September 15, 2009

Two 12-packs of beer and a few sodas were reported missing after an early morning break-in at a Davisville convenience store.

Escambia County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an alarm at the Korner Kwik Stop BP gas station at 10481 Highway 97 at 3:05 a.m. Sunday. At least two suspects were recorded on the store’s surveillance video approaching the store.

Then, according to reports, they cut power to the store to disable the interior security cameras.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call  Crime Stoppers at 433-STOP or the Escambia Sheriff’s Office at 436-9620.

EWMS MOM—-It was a pun type remark. NO, I don’t know something—If I did the SO would already have it. It was only a light comment.

Molino Jim, How can you be so sure??? Maybe you know something that you should be telling to police!

I don’t know, I guess they could’ve hit Davisville before heading to Molino the next morning. Only a young or stupid thug would break in, steal nothing but beer and soda and then get themselves on the camera before then remembering to disable the security system!!

If they cut the power to the store how can they be seen on camera???
A lot of trouble for stealing next to nothing

Of course not, they couldn’t figure out how to put a tire on with out a rim, much less cut power to a business…

I know it could not be the same two as the Tom Thumb theft.
