The driver of a Honda SUV was not injured in a single vehicle collision about 9 p.m. Wednesday on Brickyard Road just north of Brickton Road. The driver apparently lost control and hit a tree. She was not transported to the hospital.

The Molino Station of Escambia Fire Rescue and the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the crash.

The accident is still under investigation by the FHP. The name of the driver has not been released.

I want to add to Alicia’s comment. “Sandy”, needs to know who the person is, and what exactly was going on that caused the wreck. Instead of wasting your time, judging people, why don’t you go learn how to spell proper english. Okay? And the driver, was being careful. She is my bestfriend. And she was leaving my house, on her way home. And there was another person taking up the road. What the county really needs to do, is fix the freaking road and not have big ditches so there is two lanes, and not one. SOOO nobody was acting a fool, just simply going home, Okay? Thanks.
