Henry Cab Tice Arrested In Billings Case; Connections To Mexican Mafia
August 7, 2009
Thursday night, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office arrested Henry Cabell Tice, 61, in connection to his dealings with a finance company owned by Byrd Billings.
Tice faces one count of grand theft over $10,000 related to financial dealings with Byrd Billings’ business Worldco Financial Services, according to a statement from the Escambia County Sheriff’s Department. These charges are related to a criminal investigation initiated in May of 2008.
Tice and Billings knew each other because of their used car businesses and Worldco Financial, Sheriff David Morgan said, naming Tice as a “person of interest” in the murder investigation. The sheriff said Tice and murder suspect Leonard Gonzalez, Jr. had a “father and son relationship” and spoke often.
The sheriff also said that Tice admitted when questioned Thursday that Tice had connections to the Mexican mafia. Morgan said he would release further information soon about Tice and his dealings with the Mexican mafia and the car business.
Morgan said Tice had borrowed $50,000 from the Mexican mafia, and that he was still in debt to them. In his dealings with the Mafia, Morgan said Tice would sell cars across the border to be resold in Mexico. The sheriff said the deals were cash, under-the-table.

There’s no doubt that this was an extremely hanus crime, but there are too many stones left unturned, to be putting this man to death. The state had to pin someone, for these senseless killings, but we are really missing some valuable information here……….Who put these men up to this idea? Who was involved in the money laundering, which eventually led to these deaths??? WHO SET UP THE HIT???

I’m sorry but how dumb are these people $50,000 from the Mexican Mafia. They have all sold their soul for nothing. I guess thats how these people make a living though and always will because of people who are so full of greed they think geting this much money is worth their life. I cant feel sorry for anyone who doesnt have some kind of delayed mental problem. I hope the people who gave him the money has atleast made some of there money back off him. SOSODUMB.
LOWDOWN, LOWDOWN, LOWDOWN. Theres a lot of dirt that goes on in Pensacola. I personally know.
Edie – the charge would be for writing bad checks – any time you write a big enough bad check someone can press charges, which is what Mr. Billings did in 2008 against Mr. Tice. But the reason they are probably arresting him for that now, is to keep him since there is most likely a connection with him and the murders. I’m sure that it is going to come out that he probably put the hit out or something. This is getting crazy!
It looks like he’s been arrested on criminal charges stemming from an investigation from last year. Evidently they feel more charges might be forthcoming in the Billings case because of his relationship to Byrd Billings and Gonzelez Jr.
Holy cow, how many rats are in this wood pile?
Okay, but what is the charge?????
