One Injured In Collision With Deer

One person was injured when they hit a deer Tuesday night on Highway 4 just east of Northview High School.

The driver of a Nissan Altima hit the deer on Highway 4 near Vaughn Road about 9:45 Tuesday night. The male driver was transported by Atmore Ambulance to Atmore Community Hospital with minor injuries. There were no passengers in the car.

The Walnut Hill Station of Escambia Fire Rescue, Atmore Amblance and the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the accident.

The deer was killed in the collision.

    We came upon this incident,after attending VBS and three of our eleven
    grandchildren were in the car….they wondered what had happened.I told them we’d find out on NEC!!!!!! They were amazed when I told them that!!!!
    Sure enough,I just showed them and it made an impression on them!!!
    They had previously asked where the deer were tonight…….I told them I guess they were resting ………..
