Flood Advisory Issued

The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for North Escambia until 10:30 tonight.
Several thunderstorms moving slowly over portions of North Escambia have produced heavy rainfall with radar estimates indicating that about three inches of rain fell in some areas.
As the thunderstorms continue to move slowly southward, heavy rains will result in nuisance flooding of poor drainage areas.
Some of the heaviest rain according to radar estimates has been around Bay Springs and Molino.
