Traffic Note: Flomaton ‘Twin Bridges’

If you travel Highway 31 east of Flomaton, be on the lookout for some changes at the “twin bridges”.
Traffic in the area was rerouted Monday as construction on the highway continues. Officials urge extreme caution in the area.

I can’t say enough how poorly this entire project has been handled. This has been such a dangerous area since the roadwork started. For visitors to our area who are not familiar with the road, it is a logistical nightmare navigating the area at night. I’m surprised there have not been more traffic accidents along this stretch of highway during the construction.
