Back Behind Bars: Jail Escapee Captured Saturday In South Alabama
June 20, 2009
An inmate that escaped from a work release program in Pensacola Thursday afternoon was recaptured Saturday in Alabama.
Scott Douglas Hagen, 39, “walked off” from the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office garage where he was on fill-in duty.
He was taken into custody in Covington County, Alabama, early Saturday. Hagen had spent time in Covington County and local authorities there acted on a tip and took Hagen into custody, according to Sgt Ted Roy of the Escambia County Sheriff’s Department. He is awaiting extradition back to Florida where he will face Felony Escape charges.
No further details were available on how or where in Covington County Hagen was captured, Roy said.
He was last seen about 1:15 Thursday afternoon while taking out the trash at the garage. Hagen was being held on violation of probation for possession of a controlled substance.

he is in jail in alabama waiting extradition
I think it would be a good idea if they would show him wearing a hat. Because a hat goes nice with blue jeans..This way he might be easier recognized.
Beegee — He had addresses in Pensacola up until 2007 and then a Montgomery address after June 09.
Does anyone know if this man is a local???
Maybe he can find “3 hots and a cot” wherever he is going.
I don’t think we need to look at all , like they said he’s on his way to Montgomery !
Should we be looking for a skinny, slightly above average height, white male wearing blue jeans?
