Cantonment Man Arrested On Child Porn Charges

A Cantonment man was arrested Wednesday on charges of possessing and promoting child pornography, including images with children as young as two.
Michael James Whaley was taken into custody by law enforcement officers with the Attorney General’s CyberCrime Unit and the U.S. Marshall Service’s Fugitive Task Force, according to Attorney General Bill McCollum.
A tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s Cyber TipLine indicated Whaley, 34, had placed images of child pornography on a photo-sharing website. Investigators executed a search warrant at Whaley’s house in May and seized four computers as well as over 200 CDs and DVDs. Whaley admitted to possessing and uploading the images found on the photo-sharing site, some of which were of children no older than two years of age. The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the execution of the search warrant.
Whaley is currently being charged with one count of promoting the sexual performance of a child, a second-degree felony, and two counts of possession of child pornography, a third-degree felony. He was booked in the Escambia County Jail and released on bond.

i know this guy, i have personally reported him for posting bestiality and cp more than once, im glad they finally got on the ball 6 months later.

As if this is not sick enough, they let these people out on bail. Who knows what he might do, knowing that he is facing years in prison. There should be no bond on all child pornography and abuse cases.
It is so scary to think that there are sick people like that around our innocent children!!! Lock him up and throw away the key!!!!!
He needs to be locked up and “see” the Sonshine, so he will not do this again. That would “not” be easy on him. When one has been in darkness for a long time, bright Light can be quite painful, until ones “eyes” adjust. That is the only help I know for such as this. I hope someone who cares about this man and the children he has molested will make sure he sees this message.
