Approaching Front Could Mean Rain
June 27, 2009
An approaching weak cold front could mean some relief from the heat and some much needed rain for North Escambia by Monday.
There is a slight 20 percent chance of rain today through Sunday, but that rain chance jumps to 60 percent by Monday as that weak cold front approaches the coast. The front will bring just a little relief to our oppressive heat and humidity, with daytime highs by Tuesday and Wednesday returning to a more seasonable 93 with slightly drier air.
Before the front arrives, expect highs around 98 on Saturday and Sunday.
