May 23, 2009
It was a win-win game for the Northview Chiefs Friday night with the school’s intrasquad game ending in a tie after an overtime period. At the end of five rainy quarters, the Garnet and the Gold were tied at 6-6. Both teams picked up a touchdown in overtime, ending the game with a tie.

that was the funnest game ever!! i had so much fun, even if there was like 3 pounds of water in my shoes =)
Too bad # 8 didnt play…it would have changed the outcome!!!
GO EARL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good job concession stand workers.
Thanks William for braving the weather and covering our game. You are the greatest thing to happen to sports coverage or NHS in along time!
Friday night was great! The team, coaches, cheerleaders, band and fans had more spirit about them than I have seen in a while. Great positive comments and that is what we need. People who want to be negative need to keep their comments to themselves, or go get a degree and be a coach! Let’s get ready for a GREAT Year!
The cheerleaders were good, but oh, those majorettes! Beautiful, graceful, poised, talented, and………that fire!!!!!! We love them!
The football team was awesome. The band and cheerleaders also did a great job. I’m really looking forward to a good year just cheering for the Chiefs.
Go Northview!
i think wet is the understatement of the year.
this is going to be the best year ever at northview, they have more team in them and not one person like last year. keep up the work chiefs and go all the way.
Dang that lindsey holderfield girl be fine!
It was great to be at a Chiefs football game again, even with the rain. I could feel the spirit and the community support. Northview students, families and faculty are great! Can’t wait until this football season!!
I’m proud of the band for toughing it out during the rain too! They risked damaging their instruments to support the football team and cheerleaders. They all looked soaked.
The cheerleaders are looking great this year!
It’s beginning to look like a good year for the chiefs.
Good Job ladies for sticking it out through the rain,
you guys looked awesome!
t’was wet……….
