No Injuries In School Bus Crash

There were no injuries in school bus accident Tuesday morning in Cantonment.

The Florida Highway Patrol says Jeremy C. Busbee, 24, of Cantonment, failed to see the school bus when he backed out of a driveway at about 7:00 and into the side of the bus that traveling north on Santa Rosa Road, just off Muscogee Road.

There were no injuries reported to any of the 12 children on the Escambia County School District bus. Bus driver Kathleen N. Fail, 60, of Cantonment, was also uninjured.

Busbee was charged with improper backing, according to the FHP.

    First of all it is big and yellow how could you miss it ? !!!!!!! And to Oliva : As a school bus driver myself believe me when I say that we ALL take every safety precaution we can to get “OUR” kids to and from school safe everyday !!! Maybe other drivers should be more careful when they are out drivng !!!!

    Its a good thing none of the children were hurt on the bus. School bus drivers need to be careful for what they do while the kids are on the bus so nobody will get hurt. THANK GOD EVERYBODY WAS OK!
