It’s raining; It’s Pouring

Expect more rain for the remainder of your Memorial Day weekend. But like yesterday, it will be an on and off again type event.

A low pressure system that has moved across the Gulf of Mexico the past few days is now inland over Mississippi, but trailing showers mean more rain as they move inland.

Sunday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Cloudy, with a high near 81. South wind between 5 and 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
Sunday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a low around 67. South wind between 5 and 10 mph.
Memorial Day: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Cloudy, with a high near 82. East wind 5 to 15 mph becoming south. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Monday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a low around 67. South wind between 5 and 10 mph.
Tuesday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a high near 83. East wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south.
Tuesday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a low around 65. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
Wednesday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 87. Calm wind becoming south between 5 and 10 mph.
