Gas prices just in time Memorial Day travel were up 32 cents on average in Florida over the past month, but a gallon of regular unleaded is $1.50 less than last Memorial Day in Florida. The Florida state average this weekend was $2.41. Last Memorial day, that gallon of regular unleaded was $3.91. In Escambia County, the average gallon of gas was $2.37 on Monday.

Pictured: This Tom Thumb in Cantonment was selling a gallon of unleaded gas for $2.34 late Sunday afternoon, a few cents below both the Pensacola and Florida average. NorthEscambia.com photo, click to enlarge.

The root of all evil is the love of money, and that illicit affair, ruined the best real job I ever had.

Who has the answer? Why don’t we find our own oil and other resources, and quit depending on others for our survival? Something just isn’t right!

Captitalism is not working. Socialism does not work. Communism does not work. Neither does Facism, Islamism, or any other ism. Monarchy’s do not work. For, even a king is a falible human. What does that leave? Does anyone know of ANY ism that can do what needs to be done to change the evil destiny of the ones running headlong into the midst of it? GOOD GRIEF!!! What sacrifice can turn this tide? Does someone have to die to save us from ourselves? Of course they would have to be perfect themselves. Does anyone know anyone like that? No wonder those that don’t know the answer are on a rampage and even killing others and themselves!!!

Well, I guess that’s putting a positive spin on it…How about it’s also $1 higher then it was just 3 months ago!

The government needs to reign in the speculators from the oil markets…I’m sick of my business being damaged by their greed….Anytime Wall Street gets into anything in a big way, they destroy it…Just like they did when they entered the mortgage market…Slash and burn for quick profits is all they know….
