Final Teacher Appreciation Breakfast Held At Carver/Century
May 6, 2009
Teachers at Carver/Century K-8 School were treated to the school’s last ever Teacher Appreciation Breakfast Tuesday morning. The teachers were fed a complete breakfast by Carver/Century’s School Advisory Council and Abundant Life Assembly of God. It was announced at the breakfast that all of the teachers at the closing school have been offered jobs at other schools next year. NorthEscambia.com photo, click to enlarge.

Concerned Parent,
I think we are all past the “rude awakening” comments and other vague attempts at negativity.
I agree there are going to be some serious and specific problems that will require the efforts of serious people to reach solutions that will benefit as many students and teachers as possible.
But, unless you have some specific and informed suggestions to offer you continue to be a part of the problem.
I have spent quite a bit of time talking with the faculty and principal at Ernest Ward recently and I have nothing but high hopes for next year.
So, why don’t you come out from behind your anonymous moniker and express a legitimate, relevant and helpful viewpoint and begin being a part of the solution.
I sure feel sorry for the teachers that end up going to Ernest Ward! You are in for a rude awakening
Hey,
I went to Carver when I was in 6th-8th grade and I can’t believe that they want to shut it down. They should keep it open and let the kids go there. I think that is so wrong.
