Northview Reunion Band Looking For Members To Practice Tonight

Tonight’s practice of the Northview High School Alumni Band — including former members of the Century and Ernest Ward bands — has been moved from Northview to Ernest Ward Middle School.
Tonight’s practice will be held from 6:30 until 8:30 in the Ernest Ward Middle School Band Room. There will be instruments available to borrow.
The first gathering of the Alumni Band was back during Northview’s Homecoming in October. This time, the Alumni Band will be part of the Northview High Spring Concert on May 11.
The reunion band will play with the current middle and high school bands for two or three songs.

I’m so sad I can’t make it to this event. In fact, this is the first I’ve heard of it. I was in band at EWHS from the late 70’s to early 80’s. I would love to be a part of this. Is there a place where we can go to find general information and keep up with upcoming events. This is too late of notice for me now, but I would love to be able to join in on future events.
I was in the first band that Ernest Ward had , this was in 1952, this sounds like fun to play with the bands now. You never get to old to enjoy the bands.

It’s about time this happened!!
I was with “The Thunderin’ Thirty” at Ernest Ward in 1967 . During this year we were a “Class C Band” and earned Three Superior ratings at an invitational marching festival at Choctahattachee High School, Niceville, Florida. Later that same year we competed and recevied two superior and one excellent rating for concert band performance. Our band director was Charles V. Branch.
Please respond to me about this reunion I have many memories about Ernest Ward from 1967 to 1972.
