Saturday Is Opening Day At Molino Ballpark

Saturday is the official opening day for the Molino Ballpark.

Opening Day ceremonies for the Molino Recreation Association will get underway at 9:00 Saturday morning.

There are more teams this year than last — 18 compared to 14 in 2008.

Despite the poor economic  climate, President of the Molino Recreation Association Arty Kleinatland said he was pleased with the park’s growth.

“The Molino Recreational Association greatly appreciates all those who have supported the park during these economic times. Allowing us the opportunity to continue providing children in the community skills growth that organized ball establishes,” Kleinatland said.
