Packy Mitchell Recovering After Traffic Accident

Friends and family members tell us that Packy Mitchell of Cantonment is continuing to recover following a serious accident near Montgomery Wednesday.
Mitchell reportedly swerved to avoid a truck, rolling his truck two or three times. Mitchell suffered broken ribs, a chipped bone in his neck, a separated shoulder and other non-life threatening injuries, according to family members.
Mitchell ran unsuccessfully in the 2008 race for the Escambia County Commission District 5 seat.

William, Thank you for keep us informed on our community members. Packy our thoughts and prayers are with you buddy. For those that do not know Packy, he is an amazing man that does so much for our children. He was involved in making the “Miracle League” a dream come true. He has donated hundred of thousands of hours to our schools and communities. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.
