Well I guess some people have nothing else to do but put people down. I drive a bus an, if you need, to help us out , then you can drive one too. You may think we are driving fast , but we are not. Some of you never slow down and look at the buses. Because you are in a hurry. Thank you for letting us know that you care and that you would like to take the time to come drive with us. Yes there is always room for improvement, and we have the best drivers in the north end. We take our job very seriously and don’t want any think to happen to our children.

Jack Branch Road is a small road ,that doesn’t mean, the driver is bad, maybe need you to help us, to get the road widen.

If you have a problem with the driver that comes down your road, then talk with her but don’t, talk about her and make her out to be a fast driver and unsafe. You are not behind the wheel and do not know how fast she is going. You need to pray about things and not cut people down. Sorry but the roads are county. Some rain would help out.

Thank you Froggy. Route Manager is Supervisor. Some people don’t have anything else to do, but stick their nose into other peoples business. How would someone know if someody speeds everyday, unless they actually stop what their doing. Buses have gps on them. If they are taking a short cut, they might be trying to save fuel.

I have the misfortune of driving to work every morning at the same time the buses run on the Jack’s Branch and 297a and have nearly been side swiped by the buses on numerous occasions. I have called and nothing changes.

There is a bus that comes down my road twice a day, speeding every time. The speed limit is 35 and she is always going well over that. I have called about her many times and it doesn’t seem to make a difference. I’ve spoken to the route manager and even to the supervisor to no avail. I have decided that I’m going to be standing in the road tomorrow when she comes through and tell her that I am sick and tired of this and if she isn’t going to slow down, she’d better figure out another way to go (she doesn’t pick up anybody on my road, she uses it for a so-called shortcut between two others and there are other alternate and shorter routes).

I am so tired of the people we depend on to safely transport our children driving like idiots. The stakes are so high and I just can’t understand why they would be so careless.

Well if the driver was so bad at driving the bus then, the right thing for you to do was call in. Most of the time the cars are driving to fast, then say someone else is. Don’t always blame the Bus Drivers. Thats not fair. I know they have GPS.

these school buses need to slow down for one thing. I was driving on 29 last week when a school bus pulled right out of a side street onto 29 right in front of me and a pickup. She couldn’t wait a half a second until we passed when it was clear. I slammed on my brakes as did the guy driving the pickup truck. All I could do was shake my head.
I fought like heck about 9 years ago to lower the speed limit to 55 in the Molino area, when they wanted to post it to 65. Because my daughter would get onto the bus on 29. People would drive so fast they could not stop in time as the bus’s red lights would be flashing. I told the transportation dept. if they post 65 people will do 75 and you have small children getting on buses on this highway, we might as well be putting our kids on the bus on the interstate.
People need to slow down. Especially bus drivers, whether they have a full load or empty bus. SLOW DOWN.
