Lady Chiefs Scalp Pine Forest

The Northview Lady Chiefs scalped the Pine Forest Eagles 11-1 Friday night in Pensacola.

After a scoreless first inning, the Lady Chiefs took care of business in the second, putting 11 on the board. Pine Forest managed a second point in the third, making the final score 11-1.

Junior Candice Greenwell had 3 RBIs and a home run, and sophomore Emily Vickrey was 3-3 on the night with two RBIs. Sophomore Ashley Digmon had a pair of RBIs and Hayley Simpson, who is also a sophomore, had an RBI.

The winning pitcher was Miranda Burkett, pitching five innings.

    Someone needs to learn the rules of softball,not all runs are batted in. Maybe “The Coach” could hold some clinics on official scoring and you would understand it better.

    there were other people on the team that also had RBIs
