Flash Flood Warning
March 31, 2009
(Updated 4:55 p.m.) The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning until 9:00 tonight.
Radar estimated that some areas between Walnut Hill, McDavid and Molino had received up to five inches of rainfall as of 5:00 this afternoon.
There is an 80 percent chance of more rain tonight, and a 40 percent chance of storms, some possibly severe, for Wednesday and Wednesday night. The chance of rain continues at 60 percent for Thursday.

I heard they were getting on the bus but were holding them there because possibly some of 97 and other roads are flooded so they are not turning them loose right now. They are just sitting on the bus. Thanks!!!

I JUST GOT A TEXT FROM MY NIECE AT THE SCHOOL- SHE SAID THEY ARE OK–BUT THEY ARE NOT GETTING ON THE BUS YET!!
I would like to know if they plan on putting the kids at EW on the bus or if we need to go get them or if they are going to hold them at school until it passes. I have been trying to call as well and can’t get anyone. If someone knows pls post the information. Thanks!!!
I’VE BEEN TRYING TO CALL ERNEST WARD SCHOOL TO CHECK ON MY DAUGHTER WHO IS A STUDENT THERE!! BUT I CANNOT GET THROUGH, I’M SURE THAT THEY ARE IN THE HALL BUT I AM SO WORRIED! ANYBODY KNOW ANYRHING ABOUT THAT AREA?????????
