Tray is one of the most amazing young men I have ever worked with. He is outstanding in every way, and very deserving of this honor. I can’t begin to imagine what the future holds for this young man. I have been blessed having him as a student and as a friend.

I am thrilled and astounded at the same time. What a magnificent young man!!! I know, without a doubt, that he will be in a major national leadership role one day, and I can hardly wait to see what he does for our country. Tray, you have given your family and your city one GREAT BIG SMILE!!! From deep in the heart of Texas….

What I love about Tray is that he has earned every award that has come his way. After asking a politically astute question of the governor several years ago, Governor Bob Riley was impressed enough to make Tray the first teen intern of his administration.

Tray has a number of “firsts” on his resume….and he would be the first to tell you that Ellen Corman was a teen Citizen of the Year, jointly honored with her mama, Jane Corman. Tray wrote their nomination letter when he was but a freshman in high school.

Tray Smith: Your future is so bright, I’m wearing shades!

CONGRATULATIONS Trey! Job well done! You are certainly deserving of this. I think everyone should congratulate your family, mom, dad and any grandparents that have been in your life. They have done a fine job of raising a polite, well mannered, loving, kind and giving young man. Trey’s upbringing is a fine example of caring parents and parental involvement. I bet he doesn’t sit in front of video games all day. This young man is involved in our community, he will be a fine leader one day….very soon. Congrats again Trey!

Congratulation to this young man…other young people could learn from his example. Granted, everyone can’t intern for a governor or congressman, but they CAN volunteer and learn valuable life lessons that will help them to become productive members of soceity.
