Ballet Pensacola presented their outreach program “Discover Dance” Friday morning at Carver/Century K-8 School. From “choreography” to “point shoes”, students learned words and phrases while getting a taste of modern and traditional ballet. Friday’s Ballet Pensacola presentation at Carver/Century was made possible through the support of Escambia County Bank, Jay Hospital and Century Pharmacy. What a fabulous program! Our students were spellbound by the dancers’ performances and learned so much about the art of ballet during that one program. Many have expressed a desire to learn more! Thank you to the Ballet Pensacola “Discover Dance” program and to those who sponsored this opportunity.

We especially thank Bobby Ball & Ballet Pensacola for not forgetting Century and our children!

Thank you to the sponsors of the Pensacola Ballet & to the ballet itself. Many children would never have the opportunity to be introduced to the arts without bringing them to the schools. Again, thank you!
