Flomaton To Celebrate Centennial, Hold Christmas Parade

Flomaton will celebrate their centennial anniversary today beginning at noon with a dedication and open house for the Welcome Center and Railroad Museum. The celebration will conclude at 5:15 with a fireworks show.
The annual Christmas parade will take place at 2 p.m. in downtown Flomaton. It will begin at the intersection of Cary Street and Palafox Street, go north on Palafox to College, then to Houston and south to Ringold Street finally ending at the back of Cary Street.
The Flomaton High School band will perform a Christmas concert at 4 p.m.
