Two people were injured in an accident that left one vehicle upside down on Highway 29 on Century Wednesday morning.

The accident happened near Highway 29 and Highway 4 about 11:30.

A pickup truck collided with a Honda CRV, causing the Honda to overturn near Southern Treasures. The vehicle landed on its roof just off North Century Boulevard. The two people in the Honda were injured, with it taking about 20 minutes to free the driver of the vehicle with the Jaws of Life.

Lifeflight was called to the scene, and a landing zone was setup in the parking lot of the Whataburger, but Lifeflight was canceled prior to its arrival.

The accident is still under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.

They say a picture if worth a thousand words, and I think that is just what has been said about this accident. The two people involved are my neice and great nephew. I can only say I agree that God had to have been present in that car at the time of the accident and a lot of faith was shown by the driver. I can only say how glad I am after seening these pictures that the injuries were so minor. It is times as these that we should all say “Thank you God”

This was my mom and brother in this wreck. It’s unbelievable but they are okay! My mom (the driver) got hurt in the shoulder pretty bad, but she feels better everyday. My brother didn’t really get hurt much. Thank goodness! We just praise God for saving them! She said that she was actually peaceful the whole time. She never passed out. She actually had her eyes open the whole time it flipped! She felt the presence of God in that car! To God be the Glory! All Christians, please continue to pray not only for her injuries but she also needs a way to go. She has really no way to get another vehicle and she has a job to go to. We know that God will bless her , because he has already saved her life! God bless you always!
