Michelle Obama In Escambia Today

America’s potential First Lady, Michelle Obama, will be in Escambia County today at a rally open to the public.
She will speak at the “Early Vote for Change” rally at the Pensacola Civic Center. Doors open at 10:30, and the program begins at 11:45. Tickets are not needed.
Obama, the wife of Democratic presidetial candidate Barack Obama, will speak about the importance of early voting in this year’s presidential election.
The event is free. Tickets will not be distributed, but attendees are encoraged to RSVP by clicking here. An RSVP will not guarantee that you will get in; the event is first-come, first served. When vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin spoke two weeks ago at the civic center, hundreds were turned away when the building filled to capacity.
