Thanks for your fantastic site. You have made it national for the northend. How refreshing to know that the ’southend’ reads you as well. When they miss you – they miss the news.

Your work is honest and seems to show no slanted views as we tolerate daily. However, they have absolutely nothing over this wonderful information highway except the obit column.

We all cut and paste your address to send news through the USA. Thank you again.

I think you are doing an exceptional job of reporting all of the news big and small that affects the northern end of the county. I love the photos of local activities. Keep up the great work! It does make a difference.

I like your site because you report the bad right along with the good because it’s all part of our world, but you don’t sensationalize the bad things. You focus on positive things and especially things that affect our children. Keep up the good work.

I think you’re doing a great job!!! Timely, thorough coverage & updates. I am impressed! Thank you for serving n esc. county. You are making a difference and helping tremendously with communication within the community which has been a battle in most rural areas. Thanks again for serving the citizens with news that matters to them and makes a difference in their lives!

Great website. Found out about teenagers in car wrecks that were not in Pensacola News Journal. Good lesson to bring to the attention of my teenage son on how NOT to drive. Love the photo gallery also.

the best local watermelons are from Thomas Farms in Walnut Hill. Nancy and Roy Thomas have out done themselves!

Thank you for the local news and happenings on this great web site. It is nice to be able to find out the latest goings on before the papers come out on Wed. and Thurs. We used to discuss something and not know all the details and someone would say “oh it will be in the Tri City Thurs.” Now everything we want to know is just afew clicks away. Good job!!!!!!!!!

My mom told me about this website. I grew up in Walnut Hill, and my parents are residents. I live in Navarre. It is nice to keep up with news even though I plan on living in near the beach for many, many more years. My mom gave the website rave reviews, and I have to agree.

I like your site very much.It is the first thing i lok at every morning.Just a few suggestions,is there anyway to put a time limit on the advertised adds,so we don’t have to read the same adds over again. Also i realize it is a florida site, but since century and flomaton are so close together, maybe some flomaton news could be added sometimes.Keep up the good work.

I always enjoy seeing news from the northern part of the county. I am a correspondent for the “Pensacola News Journal” and have written a number of stories on Century, Molino, Barth and the other communities in between. I especially am interested in the Alger Sullivan Historical Society and appreciate stories about their activities, especially Old 100 and its restoration.
Last week, I enjoyed the story on Barrineau Park Music Night. Those people have a special place in my heart and I love that community.
Keep up the good work and good reporting.

I moved away from the area almost 2 years ago, however my family is still there. This website allows me to keep up with what is going on in my hometown. It feels great to know that there is a place out there that will allow me to do that.. Thanks so much for all your hard work.

I really do like this site. I am from the Century area originally but, I call Pace home now. I wish is to see this site expand to include the Pace, Wallace area in Santa Rosa conty area, maybe Jay.
But that said, this site does always me feel like I am home. I travel internationally for work but I can always see what is happening close to home. In fact I am in Orlando as I write this. It seems like half the time I see people that I know or, a family member. The photos are great and your community interaction is very good.
    Thanks!

I live in Atmore, but was raised in Bratt and attended school also at Ernest Ward. I love reading the news about this end of the county. Keep up the good work.

As always, Pete and I appreciate you and having this site to click on for all the local “happenings”. I also give you 2 thumbs up for keeping the stories up-to-date, and adding new stories so frequently. While we occasionally check out other local news websites, we refer to NorthEscambia.com much more because we know that you have the most current information and stories. Thanks for your dedication to bringing us “NorthEnders” news that matters to us.

  18. Kimberly Burkett on July 8th, 2008 6:20 pm

Your site is wonderful! The northend news is often not included in the local t.v. reports . We read your site daily to know what is going on in our community. When news happens your site is so quick at reporting it. Thanks for all the hard work that is put into this site for our community!

  19. Chuck Sansom on July 8th, 2008 4:44 pm

This is a fantastic site. You should advertise it more though because I knew nothing about it until some-one mentioned it on one of the pnj.com story comments. Keep up the good work.

  20. David Huie Green on July 8th, 2008 3:28 pm

cite your site for the sights

  21. David Huie Green on July 8th, 2008 2:00 pm

You do a good job over all and I frequently site your site for the sites and news that are important to us. May you reign over an internet empire.

More importantly, any good local watermelons around?

  22. Jennifer on July 8th, 2008 10:09 am

I love the website and appreciate your dedication to giving the Northend community a voice. This site has allowed the elected officials the opportunity to hear from the North End and realize that district 5 has many voices north of the IP mill. Our children also love this site and enjoy seeing pictures and stories from events in our community. The coverage you gave to our beloved Mrs. Smith’s untimely passing helped to heal our community. You reached out to our children and allowed them to grieve together and lean on one another as they shared their memories and found comfort.
The weekend story of the journey of the zebra and other animals was a bigger event than a new Harry Potter book being released.
Thanks for keeping us “in the loop”.
BTW, You sure have a beautiful lawn for someone that works so much!!!

  23. Jerry Simmons on July 7th, 2008 4:37 pm

    Love the site!
Thanks for all the hard work!
I lived in Century until this summer so I keep up with everything every day by way of this site. Makes me feel like I’m at home.
I still have connections with north Escambia because of friends and I belong to the Alger-Sullivan Historical Society.
