Sixth Candidate Has Prefiled For District 5 Commission Seat

Candidate number six has entered the race for the Escambia County Commission District 5 seat that represents North Escambia.
Aaron M. Schmidt of Gonzalez, a mechanical contractor, prefiled Friday for the position with no party affiliation.
Incumbent Kevin White, Randall McCrackin, Packy Mitchell and Chris Washler have prefiled to run as Republicans. John Hartman is in the race from the Democratic party.
