MLK Parade Held In Century

The Century-Flomaton Association held its annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade Monday morning in Century. About 15 vehicles participated in the parade, honking horns throughout the city.

Participants include the Pilgrim Lodge Missionary Baptist Church and the Bethel AFM Church of God.

The parade ended at the Century Community Center on Highway 4 where a community service in honor of Dr. King was held.

In nearby Atmore, the Concerned Citizens of Atmore held their annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade Monday morning. It was followed by a program at Deliverance Ministry of Jesus Christ on 2nd Avenue.
